There is no scorn more profound, or on the whole more justifiable, than that of the men who make for the men who explain. - G H Hardy[1]

What's this?

Welcome to Mr. Hood's World-Wide Wiki[2]. This is a study and revision resource for students of Physics and Mathematics in Scotland.

The site is by no means complete but you should be able to find links to useful content by using the search facilities or by browsing. I hope you'll find this helpful. Whether you do or not, please let me know how to improve it.

Get started by clicking the curriculum links on the left or by using the search box there.

New host

I've moved the Wiki to a new home. Hopefully there are very few teething problems but please let me know if there are any difficulties. Thanks. For now, you can't create a new account for editing the site. I've locked down access for the time being, but still welcome contributions. If you're a Physics teacher in Scotland and would like to play here, contribute, try it out or whatever, please email me a preferred username and I'll set you up. There has been a problem with the mail server configuration which is now fixed. This means that if you've registered previously on this site (check out the users list and see if you recognise your username) you can now recover your forgotten password. Thanks to Dave Spittal for pointing this out.
